When our family began to outgrow our first home, we began to look for something larger. We found our House of Dreams in September of 2009, and called the listing agent, Michelle Barnett. She immediately told us that it was a short sale, and then patiently and clearly explained exactly what that meant. She was incredibly honest about the risks and the benefits of being involved in a short sale, and armed with clear information, we took the plunge. We listed the house we owned with Michelle, and she did an absolutely expert job at handling the sale in just two short months. As we waited...and waited...and waited for the short sale to come though, Michelle was always patient and available, keeping us updated and doing all that she could to support us through the long wait.

After eight months, the short sale finally went through, and Michelle shared in our celebration with a full heart. I really felt that Michelle viewed her profession with a sense of mission and purpose, and that helping people find and secure a home - the foundation of their lives - was far more than a job for her, but a true calling. She gave us a wonderful "welcome home" gift, and even a year later, a "house-a-versary" gift. That level of customer service, even so long after the fact, impressed and touched me.

We love our home, and will be ever grateful to Michelle for her outstanding service to our family. I would reccommend Michelle without reservation, and would absolutely encourage my dearest friends to put Michelle at the very top of their list of brokers if they were buying or selling a home.
